  As I stumbled into the kitchen searching for a first aid kid, I noticed a lot of pictures hanging on the walls and on the table. I found the first aid kit in a drawer next to all of the silverware. They had a small kitchen. The oven, and microwave were connected. There weren't that many drawers or cabinets.  After I had patched myself up, with a little bandage wrap held together with some medical tape, I gazed at the pictures on the walls. It was them.   I woke up sometime later. I didn't know how much time had passed, but there was some annoying banging at the door. I tried to get up, but pain rushed to my head and sent me back to the ground. There was some movement around the window, so I crawled over there to avoid any head pain. I peaked out the window and jumped back onto the floor. There was a shitload of them massing outside.  "God damn it," I said. "They just had to scream so loud. So, they had this weapon. They must have some type of stash somewhere. It's probably in there basement." I slowly stood up, walked over, and checked each room. All of them were unlocked except for one.

But, instead of cutting it off, the blade simply shattered to pieces and all I held was a hilt with a jagged piece of weak metal sticking out.
